At the Beach Los Angeles Black Pride
Announces Dates and Theme for 19th Annual Celebration

Event to Take Place July 3-8, 2007

LOS ANGELES, CA - AT THE BEACH (ATB) Los Angeles Black Pride announced its theme "Black Out" for its 19th annual celebration taking place in Los Angeles July 3 -8, 2007.  The annual ATB signature Malibu Beach Party will take place Saturday, July 7.  As the nations largest and oldest Black gay pride celebration, ATB anticipates a crowd of over 20,000 for its events this year.  The LAX Marriott Hotel will serve as the host hotel for this year's event.  Single and double occupancy rates are $105 per night using the reservation code ATBLA.  Hotel reservations can be made by calling (800) 228-9290 or by visiting www.marriott.com and using the reservation code: At the Beach.   

Known for its annual Malibu Beach Party that draws tens of thousands of people, ATB Los Angeles Black Pride is America's longest running Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride celebration.

The City of Los Angeles is home to over 10,000 Black same-gender loving and transgender persons.  The cities of Inglewood, Carson, Compton, and Long Beach are right behind Los Angeles with a growing population of Black lesbians and gays.
